“Active Node”: When you click on a node in the tree area, select it from a search, or click on a smart link in the description, it becomes “Active”. Its contents show up in the description area. It’s rating and comments, if any, are displayed in the comments section.

Bookmarks: Your bookmarks are added as child nodes under your home node. You can move them around and create your own taxonomy of bookmarks. If the access to the bookmark’s reference node is restricted (by its owner) after you create a bookmark to it, you will not be able to access it.
