Troubleshooting How To Use Kiran Garimella 2016-03-04 09:40:54 22 0

Here are some known issues that we will be fixing (sorry for the inconvenience):

  1. When you rename a node or change its shape or color, you need to refresh the browser or the application (by clicking on the logo) in order to see the change.

  2. When you update the description, Save it, and close the edit dialog box (or alternately click on 'Save & Exit'), you can click on the "Reload" icon in the description panel's header bar to reload the description so you can see the changes; alternately, clicking on the same node in the tree will refresh the description (but that may cause the node to collapse its child and friend nodes).

  3. When you add a new child node, clicking on the "Save Changes" button will save the changes but keeps the "Add a New Child" dialog box open. If you modify anything and save again, you'll get an error message. So, the best way is to create a new child without putting in any description, then go back and edit it. Note that after you "Save Changes", you can create another new child with this same dialog box just by changing the name in the "Node Name" field and clicking on "Save Changes" again. This is a great convenience that allows you to add a lot of child nodes rapidly. We are working to make this more intuitive.

  4. When you refresh the browser or the application (by clicking on the logo), you will lose the current context (i.e., the way you expanded the tree). We will fix this by preserving the context.

  5. Refreshing the browser or the application takes care of most other issues.
